CAMP GUIDELINES
GROUP LEADERS: Please ensure that ALL members of your group are aware of these rules.
1. All plant and animal life are protected. Stay on the walking tracks. DO NOT feed any wildlife.
2. Areas where an Authorized Supervisor is required are not to be entered.
3. Skateboards, rollerblades, ripstiks, scooters, trikes, bikes, etc are not to be used on this site.
4. Feet and footwear to be clean and sand free before entering any buildings.
5. Place all rubbish in bins provided, and please ensure lids are secured on bins to cabins.
6. Please respect the privacy of other people on this property and in the neighbourhood by:
i. For Dormitories occupants – Keep use of cabin paths to a minimum.
ii. For cabin occupants – do not use the dormitories facilities, i.e. dormitory toilet/shower blocks.
iii. No noise after 10.30pm.
iv. No music to be amplified outside of buildings.
v. All music and noise levels to be confined to the building being used.
vi. Amplified announcements to outdoor speakers to be confined to the minimum essential items - (not to be used by cabin occupants).
7. The following facilities may be used by all campers (including Cabin Occupants):
i. Blue Phone in the Foyer.
ii. The Camp Laundry (situated in games room block – near girls dorm).
8. Cars are to be parked in the designated parking area (not in roundabout outside the dining hall).
9. No smoking, alcohol or illegal drugs to be consumed or brought onto this property.
10. No Chewing gum.
11. Please turn off lights/fans/heaters/air-conditioners and close doors if you are the last person to use that particular room for the day.
12. Please report breakages as soon as possible to enable repairs to be done.
13. No food or drink of any kind to be taken into or consumed in Games Room.
14. None of the games room equipment is to be moved or folded away by any guests.
15. Any football games, etc are to be played on the field at the front gate area – not on the basketball court.
16. Please take valuables with you, as no responsibility is taken by us.
17. Please do not move or remove mattresses and/or beds from rooms.
18. Please shake sand out of clothes and towels before placing in the washing machine.
19. Please do not place any footwear or unwashed articles in the clothes dryer.
20. Wood for the fire bowl is not to be collected out of the surrounding bush as this is necessary for the environment. Check with the Caretaker before use and for the availability of wood.
21. No pets are allowed.
22. Keep doors closed when not in rooms, otherwise you may have unwelcome (wildlife) guests.
23. No candles to be used any where on the property including in any room or building except in the Dining Room after consultation with the Caretakers.
24. No tape of any sort to be used to hold down audio/video cables etc.
